How did you start in crypto? What is your personal trading experience?
I started my crypto journey with a FOMO in 2016. There was so much Bitcoin hype then and a lot of folks believed it was the next big thing. So I blindly jumped into the trend using a blockchain.info wallet even though I knew almost nothing about it.
At that time, 1 BTC was less than $900 and I got 0.71 BTC for about $600. After a couple of days, I saw the worth of my Bitcoin going down at an alarming rate. I panicked and sold at a loss.
The scenario drove me into learning more about the technology and how to become a profitable crypto trader. It’s been six years since then and I’ve witnessed a couple of exciting bull runs and many months of bear markets.
When did you start sharing your expertise? Did you begin with a personal blog or as a ghostwriter straightaway?
I started sharing my crypto expertise in 2017. I organized a couple of sessions with friends and people around me to intimate them about what the future holds through blockchain.
At that time, I was writing for every niche I came across. So my personal blog and social media handles were focused on other things apart from blockchain technology.
Before the end of 2017, I kicked off cryptocurrency and blockchain ghostwriting. To date, I’ve written thousands of blogs, whitepapers, press releases, sales copies, and social media posts for various brands and projects in the industry.
It was only recently that I opened a personal website focused on blockchain, nonsonwagbo.com.
The crypto and blockchain world is endless: what is your personal favorite subject matter?
My favorite is DeFi. The reason is because of the financial inclusion it affords everyone, especially those in the unbanked parts of the world.
It’s one of blockchain’s best use cases that’s not leaving anytime soon.
