No Swapzone account is required. DODO exists on multiple EVM networks — confirm which network the partner uses for deposit and delivery.

A centralised exchange (Binance, OKX) holds DODO in a custodial account. A DEX — including DODO's own protocol — allows you to swap directly from your wallet. The DODO protocol itself is a DEX where you can trade DODO pairs directly. Swapzone is a non-custodial aggregator that compares rates from instant-exchange partners and delivers DODO to your wallet without holding funds.

Swapzone charges 0% platform fee. The only costs are the partner's rate spread (shown in the output amount) and the network gas fee for delivering DODO. On Ethereum, gas is paid in ETH; on BNB Chain, in BNB. Gas is minimal on BNB Chain (typically under $0.10) and slightly higher on Ethereum depending on network conditions.

Minimums are set by each partner and vary by pair. They appear on each offer in the comparison view. Check the minimum before initiating. On Ethereum, Ethereum gas costs may make very small DODO transfers economically inefficient — BNB Chain or Arbitrum are more practical for smaller amounts.

DODO is the governance token of the DODO DEX. The DODO protocol uses a Proactive Market Maker (PMM) algorithm that references an external price oracle to concentrate liquidity near the current market price, as opposed to constant-product AMMs (like Uniswap v2) that spread liquidity across the entire price range. The protocol claims this design reduces impermanent loss for liquidity providers and improves capital efficiency on stable and correlated pairs. DODO the token is used for governance votes and vDODO staking, not as a direct fee payment token on the DEX.

DODO is a governance token without specific geographic restrictions at the token level. However, some centralised exchanges restrict access for US residents. The DODO DEX protocol itself may have its own terms of service. Swapzone applies its own terms. No protocol-level restriction prevents US residents from holding or exchanging DODO tokens.
