Pair-specific; from $10About BaltexBaltex is a non-custodial instant and cross-chain crypto exchange service. It routes transactions through supported liquidity sources, decentralized exchanges and smart-contract paths without holding users’ private keys or maintaining centralized custody of assets. The current Baltex homepage states that the platform supports 10,000+ assets across 200+ networks, while the available token and network list can change with liquidity and integrations.
Users can complete wallet-to-wallet swaps through the standard DEX Layer, cross-chain routing or privacy-focused exchange modes. Baltex offers floating-rate swaps, where the final amount reflects market conditions at execution, and fixed-rate swaps, where the displayed amount is held for a stated deposit window. Applicable blockchain gas, underlying-protocol and routing fees are shown before confirmation; there are no hidden charges according to the FAQ. Card purchases are also offered with Visa/Mastercard, while Apple Pay is labelled as coming soon. In the fixed CMS taxonomy, the currently confirmed payment option is Debit/credit card.
Baltex does not require routine registration or KYC for standard swaps. However, its Terms and FAQ state that it applies automated transaction monitoring and can request identity, address and source-of-funds documents for risk flags, high-risk regions or suspicious activity. A transaction may be paused for review; the Terms state that a standard review typically takes up to seven business days and may be extended in complex cases. If a user refuses required KYC, Baltex may deny the exchange, retain an operational fee of up to 10% and delay any refund during an investigation or when legally required.
Transaction limits are route-specific and shown in the exchange request. Despite “no limits” language in the FAQ, the Terms state that minimum and maximum values are enforced per transaction. Deposits under $10 equivalent are not processed, refunded or credited. User-error refunds can also be subject to a $50 fee plus network fees, including for wrong-network or wrong-address deposits.
