About AnkrAnkr is a Web3 infrastructure provider that offers liquid staking and delegated staking services. For liquid staking, users stake supported Proof-of-Stake assets through Ankr’s smart contracts and receive liquid staking tokens, such as ankrETH, ankrBNB, ankrAVAX or ankrPOL. These tokens represent the underlying stake plus accumulated rewards and generally appreciate in value rather than increasing in token quantity. They can be transferred, traded or used in compatible DeFi applications, subject to market liquidity and smart-contract risk.
Ankr currently presents staking support for 9+ tokens. Its liquid-staking documentation lists Avalanche, BNB Chain, Polkadot, Ethereum Mainnet, Fantom and Polygon; supported liquid-staking assets include AVAX, BNB, DOT, ETH, FTM and POL. Users connect a compatible wallet, choose an asset and pay the applicable network gas fee. Minimum stake amounts, reward rates, validator mechanics and availability vary by blockchain. For example, the current BNB documentation lists a 0.1 BNB minimum stake and no maximum, while other assets have their own conditions.
Rewards are not fixed and depend on the underlying network’s validator rewards and protocol conditions. Ankr deducts a technical service fee from staking rewards; its current fee documentation lists 5% for POL, 10% for AVAX, BNB, DOT and ETH, 15% for FTM, and 30% for GNO delegated staking, in addition to network fees. Unstaking timing depends on the network and chosen route. For example, standard BNB unstaking can take 7–15 days, while flash unstaking can provide immediate liquidity when the flash pool has sufficient capacity and may involve additional fees.
In addition to staking, Ankr provides Web3 developer infrastructure, including RPC/API services, rollup and sidechain tooling, and enterprise staking integrations. Its liquid-staking ecosystem references smart-contract audits, bridge-contract audits and a bug-bounty program. Staking entails protocol, validator, smart-contract, liquidity and market risks; rewards and availability are not guaranteed.

Frequently Asked Questions About Ankr

What is Ankr and what does the ANKR token do?dropdown

Ankr is a Web3 infrastructure provider that operates a global network of nodes across 80+ Proof-of-Stake blockchains. It offers developers and businesses access to RPC endpoints, APIs, liquid staking, and custom blockchain creation — all through a single platform. The ANKR token is the native utility token of the network: it is used to pay for API and node access, earn staking rewards, and participate in governance by voting on protocol changes.

Is Ankr a real company with institutional backing?dropdown

Yes. Ankr was founded in 2019 by Chandler Song and Ryan Fang, both former engineers at Amazon Web Services. The project has established infrastructure partnerships with Microsoft, Binance, Tencent, Polygon, Optimism, and Avalanche, among others. Ankr operates a commercial Web3 Infrastructure-as-a-Service model alongside its consumer-facing staking and token products.

What is Ankr liquid staking and how does it work?dropdown

Ankr liquid staking lets you earn Proof-of-Stake rewards without locking your tokens out of circulation. When you stake through Ankr, you receive equivalent liquid staking tokens in return — these can be traded, used as collateral in DeFi applications, or applied to yield strategies while your original assets remain staked. On Swapzone, Ankr staking is available from $50 with a current APY starting at 0.92%, with support for ETH, BNB, and additional assets.

What is the current ANKR token price and market cap?dropdown

As of August 2026, ANKR trades at approximately $0.003–0.005, with a circulating supply of roughly 10 billion tokens and a market cap in the range of $33–38 million, according to CoinMarketCap and Kraken data. The token reached an all-time high of $0.21 in 2021. Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile and change constantly — always check a live source such as CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap for the current figure.

Could ANKR ever reach $1?dropdown

Reaching $1 would require a roughly 300x increase from ANKR's August 2026 price of approximately $0.003–0.005 — which would place its market cap above $10 billion at current supply. No credible analyst projects this within any near-term timeframe. This content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial or investment advice. Cryptocurrencies carry the risk of significant loss. Conduct your own research (DYOR) before making any decisions.

What are the main use cases for the ANKR token beyond speculation?dropdown

ANKR has three verifiable on-chain utility functions: paying for access to Ankr's RPC and API services, staking to full nodes to earn a share of infrastructure rewards, and voting in Ankr DAO governance proposals. Developers building on chains supported by Ankr's node network can use ANKR directly for service payments, creating recurring demand that is tied to actual platform usage rather than speculation alone.

How does Ankr staking on Swapzone work in practice?dropdown

On Swapzone's Ankr staking page, you connect a compatible wallet — MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, TrustWallet, OKX Wallet, or WalletConnect, among others — and stake from a minimum of $50 equivalent. Staking is liquid, meaning you receive a representative token you can use elsewhere in DeFi. Support is handled via a request form, with response times ranging from 24 hours to 8 days, so it suits users comfortable with asynchronous assistance rather than live chat.
