This Thursday, September 30th 7:00 pm UTC we had an amazingly fun and insightful Bigger Crypture AMA session with Chris and Chase – founders of the Sparda Wallet. Built on Zilliqa, this NFT wallet is a hidden gem for artists and creators who want their artworks to be sold.
The Bigger Crypture is a series where we dissect projects we support, worship and adore & get to know people behind them. In case you have no idea what Swapzone is, Swapzone is an instant crypto exchange aggregator. We empower projects built on blockchains especially when they have a noble cause as their mission. Sparda is one of these projects and for those who missed the session yesterday, luckily we have a recording of our joyful convo right here:
Don’t have time to watch the whole thing? No worries, we have the textual highlights here for you to get acquainted with the essentials of Sparda (but we really recommend you to watch the full stream: it was very inspiring and community questions were fire).

Presentation: What are the key focus areas for each of the founders?
Chris focuses on the code and platform.
Chase focuses on marketing and scope.
What is Sparda Wallet, the idea, the mission, how and when it all started?
Sparda Wallet is an AIO NFT platform built on Zilliqa empowering any user worldwide. The mission is to enrich as many artists and provide as many happy art receivers in a decentralized manner as possible. It al started from a Reddit post just around 3 months ago. Crazy, right?
Diving in: Why NFTs among the vast variety of things.
NFTs are new and have a huge future. Besides, Chris is a creator as well, so he wanted to build something he could use himself.
The 10 cent mints and low sales fees
This is one of the most amazing things about Sparda. And this is all possible because ZIL blockchain is great!
Why exactly Zilliqa and how ZIL reacted to the idea?
Well, the “why exactly Zilliqa” is pretty much self-explanatory given the previous pitch about low fees and the possibility of 10 cent mints. That’s cheap and there’re few (if any) blockchains that can indeed offer something similar to experiment with. Moreover, Chase is a ZIL maximalist so he wanted to take all ZIL’s potential out there and use it.
As for the reaction, ZIL community is great and active, it reacted very positively and made an effort to spread the word (and they still do, as we can see with this AMA happening).
Auctions: how did you feel about the first-ever auction, the most successful/remarkable ones
Amazing! No other comments, really. Always great to see people contributing and using Sparda.
Dr Death, Jeuz daehan, Dope – to name a few big ones.
Artists: to name a few, who are the biggest contributors
All of them! Grateful to each and every who gives Sparda a shot. There’s nothing to be afraid of, the NFTs are sold and there were cases when artists have never sold an artwork before and had an immense and insane success when selling on Sparda. Nothing’s impossible, just reach out and try.
Plans and roadmap: what else for 2021? Any wild goals for the future?
Bridge ETH NFTs – that’s the nearest. Selling1,000,000 NFTs would be awesome though. Let’s see what 2022 brings!
Marketing: what’s your attitude, challenges
Always be creative and active. That’s the core. Keep an eye on the market, sometimes create some drama, be easy to reach out to, talk and listen to your community. No real strategy but pure devotion and love towards what you do.
Thanks, Sparda Wallet! Will stay in touch:)
